Developer – Actuarial Software
Graduate hire
Developers contribute to either the Base Platform application, dealing with user interaction and data management, or the Gadgets, the specialist mathematical models underlying the automation of actuarial and financial processes. Developers in our company can be both deeply capable in the technology development, but also aware of the actuarial world
We recognise one size does not fit all in terms of how people define their career, but what is most important to us is that our software engineers demonstrate a willingness to learn and apply this to their work.

Graduate Developer - Actuarial Software
Why did you join Dynamo?
I was very excited about the Graduate Actuarial Software developer role when I first saw it. It offers a unique combination of computers and actuarial principles – thus enabling me to combine my love of technology with my field of study.
I was also intrigued by Dynamo and wanted to be a part of it, as I think incorporating advanced modelling software with consulting is ingenious and will take the company far.
What is unique about working at Dynamo?
Throughout all my interactions with Dynamo in the interview process, I could tell the company had a special, open, friendly and inclusive atmosphere. It is a multinational team with a focus on providing real value to clients.
Dynamo provides support to all employees aiming to improve their skills and increase their ability to further the company. Dynamo is supporting me through my exams by providing me with study leave and paying for the exam and necessary study requirements. Beyond this, there are many other Dynamites quick to offer advice and support with the exams, and I found it beneficial to learn from their experiences.
What would you say to anyone considering joining?
I think Dynamo is the ideal place for anyone wanting to learn lots and learn it fast, in an accepting and supportive environment, focused on its people and those we interact with.
