Ashka joined Dynamo Analytics in April 2020 as a Senior Consultant in the UK office. She is a qualified actuary with over seven years’ experience in both the UK and Australia, specialising in general insurance. Ashka studied Physics at university, then started her actuarial career at PwC in the London office. During her time there, she worked on a wide range of projects and qualified in December 2015. She then went on an international secondment to the PwC Sydney actuarial team, before taking on a permanent role at Allianz Australia. In this role, she was responsible for the reserving for a range of classes of business, as well as liaising with the wider Finance team and mentoring junior actuaries.
Outside of work, Ashka enjoys running, reading, and occasionally dabbling in baking. She also loves travelling and is looking forward to seeing more of Europe now that she is back in the UK.
Fun fact: Ashka once thought doing a triathlon on a day where it was 40℃ at the start was a good idea…needless to say, it was not a day for a personal best time in the cycle or run leg!
