Andy joined Dynamo Analytics in Aug 2021, as a Consultant in the UK office. He is a qualified actuary, with five years’ experience in general insurance. In 2016, Andy achieved a masters degree in mathematics from the University of Nottingham, before accepting a graduate role within the London actuarial team at PwC. In his time at PwC, Andy worked across a diverse range of projects, from audit and SAOs, to reinsurance pricing, and (more recently) digital transformation work.
Outside of work, Andy is an avid sports fan, who particularly enjoys playing and watching tennis, as well as following his boyhood team Middlesbrough fc, currently languishing midtable in the Championship.
Fun fact: Andy has recently rekindled his love of the guitar, taking up regular lessons, and annoying the neighbours with endless sketchy renditions of John Mayer’s back catalogue.
Louise joined Dynamo Analytics in September 2021 as a Graduate Actuary in the UK office. She graduated from University College Dublin with a First-Class Honours Degree in Actuarial and Financial Studies. In her penultimate year of university, she undertook an eight-month placement at a Lloyd’s syndicate (SCOR Channel) where she gained exposure to reserving, pricing and capital modelling. Louise hopes to sit her remaining professional examinations in the years to come and qualify as a Fellow of the IFoA.
Louise’s love of adventure is reflected in the fact that she spent a summer volunteering in Tanzania and another working as a barista in Vancouver. She likes Gaelic football, running, sea swimming, singing, Marvel superhero films, Formula 1, sustainable fashion and learning German.
Fun fact: Louise is distantly related to Neil Armstrong!
Kristhy joined Dynamo Analytics in South Africa in September 2021. She graduated from Stellenbosch University with a bachelors degree in Human Resource Management in 2012 and has since gained generalist experience in both Finance and Human Resources. Kristhy is passionate about optimizing efficiency through implementing effective systems and strives to do so with the attitude of an early adopter.
In her spare time Kristhy seeks opportunities to explore outdoor adventures in the beautiful Cape and practices her hospitality with family and friends. She also volunteers with local NPOs.
Fun fact: Kristhy played provincial soccer in high school and later on for the her university club as well.
Othon joined Dynamo Analytics in September 2021 as an Assistant Operations Engineer in the Stellenbosch office. Othon is originally from the Congo (DRC) and is from a big family of 7 children, Othon being the middle child. He graduated with a Bachelors in Chemical Engineering at Stellenbosch University in 2015.
He started his career as an Operation and Service Coordinator at Every Nation Stellenbosch Church where he oversaw the volunteers and department leaders, helping to coordinate teams and run Sunday Services. Whilst working for Every Nation Stellenbosch, Othon gained team leadership experience.
Othon enjoys working alongside people and helping to motivate the team whilst effectively working together. He enjoys solving problems and taking up new challenges. When Othon is not at work, he enjoys playing tennis, running, hiking and spending time with friends.
Fun fact: Othon has jumped out of an airplane.
